Abstract
Constructing a web-based administrative and organizational tool for a large orthopaedic surgery residency program.
Purpose
The main goal of this project was to create an easily updated and easily accessible repository for administrative and educational information for the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program. Hcorponline.org was created using free online software. This project was undertaken over a one-year period from May 2011 to May 2012. As of Spring 2012, the site is being viewed nearly 3,000 times/month; site content continues to grow. Hcorponline.org is a simple but valuable tool meant to ease logistics, facilitate program-wide collaboration, and enhance the overall educational experience.
