On behalf of
Dr. James Herndon, Dr. Thomas Thornhill and the Harvard Combined
Orthopaedic Residency Program Alumni Association, we extend our
best wishes to all alumni of the Harvard residency program for a
happy and prosperous year. We hope it is evident from the journal
you hold in your hands that the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency
Program's commitment to excellence in clinical orthopaedics and
basic science continues stronger than ever.
We enjoyed our
gathering in March at the 68th Annual Meeting of the American Academy
of Orthopaedic Surgeons in San Francisco. The panoramic view of
the Bay Area skyline was truly spectacular and the open bar was
well received.
Thanks to those
of you who responded to our yearly questionnaire by updating your
mailing information. We hope to streamline the process in the future
so that you may better update us with any address changes. Our efforts
to expand the alumni section were successful this year, and we are
pleased to report the most recent exploits and accomplishments of
our Alumni. However, at last count, there are over 400 of you out
there, so for those who were unable to contribute to this year's
edition, we encourage you to submit any professional or personal
news (including pictures) that would be interest to your friends
