Joining the ranks of past lecturers including Sutherland,
Herring, Hensinger, Hall, Rang and Ganz, Professor H. Kerr
Graham, visiting from the University of Melbourne, was the
Childrens Hospital Boston 22nd Annual Distinguished Grice
Lecturer.
He impressed all with his energy and dedication
to teaching. He engaged residents and fellows at Childrens
Hospital Boston giving daily lectures, participating in clinics
and educating all in the operating room.
His humility and genuine
love for orthopaedics echoed from his heartfelt remarks
at the Grice Dinner. His comments on the podium presentations
of faculty including Drs. Bae, Kim, Matheney, Murray,
Nimec, Snyder, Spencer & Warman and residents including
Drs. Banffy, Diwan, Guss, Gillespie & Kadzielski were insightful
and on-point.
His stay culminated with his packed-house
HCORP Grand Rounds presentation discussing the importance
of Botulinum A Toxin, gait analysis and close follow up in the
care of children with cerebral palsy.
