The Orthopaedic Journal at Harvard Medical School (OJHMS) has continued its success as a valuable and important resource for the orthopaedic community. Now in its 16th year of publication, OJHMS continues to evolve into a rigorous academic journal with a structured peer-review process with distribution throughout the local, national, and international orthopaedic communities. The response from our readers has been overwhelmingly positive, and they eagerly await the next issue.

Our continued success has been due in no small part to the financial support we receive from advertisements from our industry friends in the orthopaedic community. We greatly appreciate your consideration in support of this important academic endeavor, and we at OJHMS hope to build a continuing relationship with your company.

This year we will be moving to a print version of OJHMS in addition to the online and PDF formats which will increase visibility and readership. Furthermore, the OJHMS will be distributed by mail to supporters, Harvard Orthopaedic alumni, as well as other academic institutions throughout the United States. With the new print edition, there will be several prominent and coveted spots for advertisements. This year, purchasing a half-page or large advertisement space in the print edition of OJHMS will secure an online advertisement as well.

As demonstrated by our previous issues, OJHMS is an excellent way to promote your business to a large but focused readership through a reputable publication. Please refer to the attached documents for advertisement rates and technical requirements. Commitments for the 2016 edition are requested by April 1st 2017.

Acceptable File Formats for Graphics

Artwork should be supplied in PDF format.
-A PDF to PDF/X-1a standard is preferred to ensure a good reproduction. Alternatively, supply a standard CMYK, high resolution PDF (at least 300dpi), with all fonts and images embedded.
-We can also accept Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, TIFF and EPS files.

Contributors will be recognized both in the print and online Journal, and Visionary donors will receive special recognition at the annual graduation dinner. Donations can be made anonymously as well.
